Is there any way to find out where an email (Gmail) was sent from?

Someone sent a libelous email, and I want to find out how to trace it. Please help, and thank you.
Is there any way to find out where an email (Gmail) was sent from?
You can trace till the server but It can hide the account from you. To do that on Gmail have to open your mail and click on the "reply" button on the right of the header of the mail (http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/6449/... then select "Show Original" and a pop up window will come up and show all the headers of the email (http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/8463/... on you will see on top a list of "received:" tags, the last one is the first server that send the email (the red one on the image)... then you can use a finger service to locate that server...
Reply:To do that you will have to look at the full SMTP headers of the message. Open the mail in question.

Towards the right where you have the reply option, click on the small arrow next to it. You will see a few drop down items. Select the "show original" option.

It will open a new window with all the SMTP headers on top. From that you can trace the origin of the message. If you can't interpret the headers, send them and I will tell you where it came from.
Reply:Try http://www.people-info.info

Good luck!
Reply:In the upper right hand corner, there is a link (show details), click on it, and it will show all the recipients, if the sender did NOT USE BCC. (blind carbon copy)
Reply:if you go to the properties of the email address it will give you the URL, but really you have to have software to be able to understand it.
