Everyone hides the email addresses for a reason. The web-crawlers pick it up and start sending you spam. You don't want to have your email address on a public site unless you want to read about Viagra or herbal pills to make your thingy bigger.
Also, you get points for answering it here. Why would anyone email it? The whole point is that this is a community forum and everyone gets to share the answers.
