I don't know why you don't have text messages, but I assume if oyu want gmail on your phone you have web access, because it is required for this application to work. So point your phones web browser to http://www.gmail.com/app and you will get a download link for this free program. If you do not have web services on your phone, then you can't use this program anyway.
Could someone send me a code for gmail. I do not have text message on my cell phone.?
You can request an Google mail invite yourself using the self-service website http://www.highwayman.org/gmail . All you need is an e-mail address to validate your request.
