Help with sending pictures over gmail?

Well, I have to send a buttload of pictures over gmail and they're all huge (4-5 MB a pic). The max attachment size is 20MB and I really don't want to have to send 20-30 emails to get the job done. Is there something else I can do?

You Zipped them in a folder. Check if you already have a zip program in your computer.

Make sure the folder is just as big as 20MB. Then send each zipped folder. The receiver should unzip them when s/he gets the emails.

If you don't have a zip program. Search:

You can also try Picasa if these are a lot of photos, like 100 of them. Picasa is an online photo album storage and sharing from Google.

Sign in in Picasa, by using your Gmail email address. You don't have to sign up, just log in type your Gmail email address and password, click sign in.

Reply:The very best thing you can do is resize the images-- is there some reason they each need to be 4-5meg or are you just sending them for someone else to look at?

If you just want someone else to see them then resizing is your best bet-- most photo software that comes with a digital camera will give you an option to resize for email (e.g. Kodak).

One cool site to shrink your photos online is www.shrinkpictures.com -- I recommend using the % tool. Try decreasing your photo by 50%, you'll be surprised how large your pic still is :)
